ORD today.
I'm going to ORD today, collecting my IC today, so I hope the process will be very very very very very smooth so that I can go for rehearsal earlier. I pray for everyone's wellness as well. I also want a good mind to memorise the steps tomorrow. I hope that we'll do very well in POS again. Let's bind the spirit of complacency and build up the spirit of concentration and focus and seriousness, so that we can do the stunts perfectly. I need to have more faith in my stunts. I'm tired now. Time to sleep.
Time to sleep
I need more training to my dance steps. I need to keep my friends in prayer. I finally get to see ShuHui today. Yay!
Ok enuff about today liao. Yesterday I went out to have gathering with my JC band friends. We talked alot of crap. We suan a lot of people. Actually there are only 6 people there. Ok enuff said. I'm really tired. Today's 'full dress' rehearsal is stressful to me. I'm not at my highest performance level. I need to sleep. I hope my cough get well soon.

Muscle Aches again.
I haven't been exercising my leg (i.e. playing soccer) for very long liao. So when I did my jump yesterday, I felt the muscle ache in my leg today. I wake up feeling very pain and had trouble walking down the stairs. I had problems doing my jumps today. But thanks to shi yin, she bought a muscle rub for me from the Hall 2 mini mart. I feel so bless with these group of people around.

Tomorrow is 2nd Preview for POS
Today we put our focus onto building up ourselves for the Emerge Conference. We are looking forward to what's happening after the Emerge Conference. We will be reaching out to the lost sheep.
We went thru our dance and stunts with the music today. Dance still ok, but stunts not successful. I hope for the next week or so, we'll be able to come out with something spectacular.
I went for 2nd NTU band practice today. I feel that the people there are rather quiet. Probably my section only. I also don't dare to be noisy and disturb them cos I'm just a noob. My skills are not there yet compared to them. I hope to get closer into their conversation soon. After band I went home with YouWei and Chin May. Chin May first time taking bus in Singapore. An experience of a life time. Hope she won't get lost. Go msg her later and check whether she reach home already or not.
I miss my dearie shuhui also. I'm really sorry that my life is so bz these days, but I assure her that after the Emerge Conference, I'll spare up my time to go out with her as often as possible.

I need to sleep
Today I'm very tired, so I'm just going to do a brief blog. Training is really xiong yesterday. I trained from 11am to 10pm. later must wake up at 8am and go for training at 10am. I hope everything will improve this week. I'm apologise to my army gang that I'm not able to watch DVC with them at 1pm today. I hope to join you all some other time. Training is realy tite and we got a performance to put up. God please protect me from injuries.

xiong training looking forward to 2mr.
My hands are all very tired today. The stunt today is difficult as it requires a lot of my strength. Anyway, I'm looking forward to 2mr cos I'm going to NTUSB for band practice, but sadly, Ngee Ann Poly needs to have sectionals to do some touch up on the pieces. I hope Gregory will let me go early. I'll try to be there early after the POS rehearsal.
Welcome Merrill back to NPCB
Yesterday afternoon went for POS rehearsal for a while then went to band prac at Ngee Ann Poly. Yesterday, we did a new stunt we is more or less successful for me. Shall not elaborate. In the evening we had band practice. Merrill was back, it was my first time seeing him. He is really good. He can play notes one octave higher than me. I need to learn a lot from him. I asked for his advice and he told me to do lots of lip slurs. So from now on, I'm going to practice lots of lots of lip slurs so that I can get my stamina there. Yup. That's all for today. I'm tired liao. zzzZZZZ....
POS Preview
Today is the 1st preview. We went up on stage and showed the people what we have done for the past week. Our presentation is really really short so much that it looks like it ended abruptly. After the whole thing brother Justin gave us his comments on how we fair. I feel that we have to focus on what we are doing and not get distracted on how good they are. The reason is that we have a different style of preparation therefore we may not be as good as others now, but we may be better during the showdown. Anything can happen during the showdown.
The next week will be a super bz week for me as I'm going to have band rehearsals and POS rehearsals. My priority goes to the band rehearsals as the concert is on saturday, then after that I'll devote the whole of the following week to POS and polish up everything.
The coming wednesday will be the 1st practice with NTUSB and I hope it'll be a great time to get to know the members there. Haha...
A nice time of bonding
Before the concert on saturday, I just want to use this time to generally thank the people in NPCB for allowing me to improve my trumpet skills as I get back into the band scene. Individual testimonials will come out after the concert. Heehee...
Today, after band practice, a few of us went to have a bonding session and dinner at bukit timah plaza Pizza Hut. We ordered 2 mother's day special for our dinner. I ate the most that day, so I'm paying for the service charge and GST for most of the people. LOL... I ate six slices of pizza... hahaha... I'm still so thin. We talk a lot of cock during the bonding session. I feel so into their gang even though I'm just a guest player. I just love the dedicated people there who have been helping me thru my life.
I want to find a way to thank them during the concert day. Anyone have any ideas to help me? Suggest what gift to give to them? This is my very very first time as a guest player so I don't know what to do. Thanks a lot NPCB.
2 more days to the preview of our performance.
2 more days to the preview, we want to come out with quality performance, even if it is just a few seconds. Today, we learn the routine(performance) dance steps. I am really a slow learner and try take a long time just to remember the steps. I need more self practice, just like trumpet. Less than 3 weeks is all we have left to the performance. We've got a foundation, but not a strong one. I heard about the stories of last year and I believe that this year, the stunts will be even better. However, to improve for next year, I suggest that we contact people before the exams and tell them about what is happening for the conference. I also want to keep in touch with all those people so that I can help them in times of need.
I'm having band practice 2mr so gotta sleep early. Good nite.
A failure and a success
Today's POS rehearsal was one of the failure days. Paul and me try to lift Faith up to the top of the tower, somehow waiting for her to do the 'V' she was asked to fall. As I am concentrating on her position, I was caught by surprise when she falls, luckily she was not hurt when Paul, me and some other people caught her. Secondly, Paul and I tried to lift Daiqi to full extended position with the help of Julian, but some how, we just couldn't get the stability when Daiqi needed to come down. When she fall, she was caught by many ppl, but her knee hit the ground and was scratched. I feel so guilty for that.
Night time it was band practice. I feel that my high notes are more stable now after playing thru some of the pieces. My intonation isn't that bad today. Thank God for your help. I hope people will come to support me for my concert. I'm going down to ACJC Band this saturday to promote the tickets with Joshua. At time same time, go and order MUSE tickets from them and then go disturb 5d. Lol. Oh, I left my shoe in the NPCB clubhouse. Hopefully it'll still be there when I go there on saturday. lol.
It's getting late
Now time time is 1:04am and I'm still on the computer.
As usual, I forgot to bring my camera to POS to take photos today. Today's rehearsal was more of perfecting the basic stunts. We did teddy bear today but was successful only once. Our rehearsal ended b4 four. I felt that someone must take over daiqi as the flyer after she's graduate. I was thinking of lynnette. I myself have to get bigger in size but I don't know how to.
At night, Gladys and me went to send peng yuan off to canada. To our dismay, we reached the airport already when peng yuan is still at home. So we went to terminal 3(budget terminal) and have our dinner at Han's. Thanks to gladys I'm able to have a discount in the food there. hee hee... After that we meet Peng Yuan and his family and send Peng Yuan off to canada. By the time I got home, it was 11:30pm. So late and I'm so sleepy now. Good nite.
Cheerleading super xiong
Today I went for the first rehearsal of NTU POS. I have forgotten to bring my camera there so sorry for not having photos today. I really have no experience in cheerleading. I began to hear words like elevator, shoulder sit, shoulder stand, back spotter, front spotter, cradle, pendulum and many other terms used for cheerleading. I tried lifting people up, but I really don't have the strength and momentum yet. After I came home, my whole body is tired from the day of work. It is really a good exercise, but to do a good one, I really need more practice. I hope tomorrow will be better.
Emerald finally replied my email. Lol. I hope I can get back in shape for NTUSB too.
I wrote a blog just now, but everying got deleted. I'm a lil frustrated. I got no time to rewrite it again so I'm just going to sleep. Blog another time.
I still need a lot more practice.
Today band rehearsal was held in the Ngee Ann Poly Convention Centre. I counted the number of seats. The lower section consists of 960 seats. That's really alot with a lot of tix to sell. It seems that some ppl like me couldn't get the advertising going.
After lunch, band rehearsal began promptly. When I played with the band in the convention centre, my intonation was totally totally out. We played Inn of 6th Happiness, my intonation is really off. That goes for the same with Japanese Graffiti 6. I decided to go for band prac early tmr and practice my long tone exercises with my mic and tuner. Yep.
On the rest of the areas of my life, I'm trying to get in contact with NTU symphonic band. If anyone of you got any contact with NTUSB, pls let me know ASAP. They have been MIA from me for some time after their exams are over. Thanks.
I got a digial metronome/dual tuner today from Cristofori in Jurong East. I finally can practice my long tone exercise properly with a tuner now.
Before I bought the tuner I went to IMM looking for Band World. I think it's lost somewhere in IMM that I couldn't find. Maybe someone can update me whether they are still there or not. I couldn't find it.

My Mum's Birthday
Today is my mum's birthday. I'm glad that we can finally have a family time together. Sorry no photos posted cos I didn't bring camera out today. We went to KTV today, but I was sleeping half of the time cos I dunno how to sing chinese song as the chinese words are 繁体字. I dunno how to read. Haha. 2 years + of army have deteriorate me. lol.
