Music is where my hearts lies.
Yesterday was the last committee meeting. We had a committee reviewing session where everyone gets to say something. Even with many thoughts of passing down my post quickly, I still have the small bond with this committee. I dunno how the next committee will be like with new set up. Prolly I'm the only one staying who will not be in top 4 position. That's ok, because I don't want to stress out myself, and also the top 4 people are very good for the band. I wanted to be PNP2 at first, but seems like QM will be a better position for me. Well, I think there are responsibilities more suited for me as a QM compared to PNP2 ba. However, I won't still be really fighting for the post. Hopefully there'll be a contender then there'll be a selection of choices ba. With no information or relevant experience on being a QM, I shall see on the day of election to see on the views of the elections. My only thing to tell the band is not to choose the one which they like, but to choose the one who has a better ability and assets to run the post. If I don't get it, it'll still be alright to me. I'll just have more time to spend in my studies. All the best for my final logistic job. Serving in the logistic officer is fun, but it'll be better to let other people have a chance to learn about logistic officer. I'll make sure I train the next guy/girl well so that he/she will prove much less of a problem coming up. So next time, there'll be 2 log Os. One advisor and one main log Os.

Bad mood
Why can't Cityharvesters have concert ettiquette! When the singer is singing, dunno which idiot is screaming like crazy. It's not a pop concert. When the singer sings the end of a phrase, everyone screams and I can't hear the start of a new phrase. When she sings the last note, I can't even hear the note cos the audience is cheering for her. LET HER SING PLEASE!!!!
Now it makes me no mood to do my work. I still have 0830 lecture 2mr. Shag day.

A Testimonial to my Piano Teacher.
I came across the newspaper when I get home today and found it on my brother's table. I checked the date and found out that it was 5th August. I looked at the front page and saw my piano teachers face. I've heard about the accident from my family I know what happened, but I've never realised that music means so much to her. I wish that she is my piano teacher again, to help me brush up my piano skills. I wish to go to her house and play her magical piano again, her piano usually has a different feel from mine. Even my siblings have gone through her lessons too. It's not easy being a piano teacher, especially when your children doesn't have your dreams. I do have my dreams in music, but the proximity of improving is difficult. I want to be a good amateur pianist but major in engineering. Guess learning piano will happen after I graduate from University. To my piano teacher, Mdm Wong, I don't mind being your student again. You've help me all the way for so far. Until now, I'm still playing the piano when I'm free.

Week in summary
This is a busy week.
Monday
I played off-stage trumpet in substitute of my good friend who is busy IAing. This is the view from up there. Quite nice ar. If you wonder why is the conductor so far away from us, this is because it's a temporary place for us to practise only. We do not discriminate our conductor. We love him a lot. Thanks Sensei.
Tuesday - tutorship. Mr Ikebe play really loud. I can't match his volume. He teach me different styles of trumpet playing. Not easy accustoming to his style. Especially 'The Sword and The Crown' I was so nervous that I can't play the fanfare part. It's fun being with him, but we feel guilty to trouble his way to NTU. He's another good sensei.
Wednesday - Band prac. Tsemin, Yoon Heng and Me went into the reception room to practice 'The Sword and The Crown'. Tsemin feels the prac is fruitful. But we still have a lot to work on as a section. Allocation of parts are very messy that day. Something has to be done.
Thursday - Teach tuition. Nothing much. I've been treated well.
Friday - Cell group.
The sunset picture which was captured from Chinese Garden MRT station, before I go for cell group.
Saturday - Band prac. Full Day. Tiring because only have a few trumpeters. It's fun going out with new people for lunch. We joined the saxophone section for lunch today. They are quite funny too. Tok cock with them and made it back to band on time. Haha... Nice bonding time.
