Hail Rooney!!!

Rooney scores 2 goals and mantain Manchester United as the League Leaders

Rooney played the game simple, that's why he scores. Unlike him, Christiano Ronaldo come out with all his stupid stunts again. He didn't deliver and he miss a lot of sure score chances. Thanks to Gary Neville, Rooney just use his brute force kicking skills so score goals. Not much of fancy display in his footwork. He runs fast, like Theiry Henry. I hope Rooney and Ronaldo can work it up to win Chelsea.

I'm just blogging because I'm too stressed

I think I'm going crazy because of the exam. At this time I'm still doing my maths. I really hate the maths, cos the teachers always give the wrong answer and I couldn't find them at the right time to follow my study plan for the exams. ARrrgh!!!

BTW, last thursday I had my exam in Exhibition Hall B in Nayang Auditorium. That place brings me memory of the time when I was in band fest. I remembered during the performance nite, all of us are gathered there before we go upstage and perform. I still remember which pillar I was standing at. But now.... I was in the exam hall having the worst paper of all. Cell and Molecular Biology paper. The setters are really evil to set a paper so hard. I hope I can scrape thru.

For maths, I had a had time doing cos I keep getting different answer from the workings of the professor. Then the professor's working cut short a lot. Then I don't know how they can cut short so much an in the end get the wrong answer. If they all can't get the correct answer, they shouldn't set a very tough paper right? Hopefully I can receive back my F maths skills and work through the exam.

Exam handsigns

Here are two of the handsigns that I used very much during my preparation of the exam. I think engineers are interesting and crazy people. Everytime solving a problem, I'll be showing handsigns to solve questions. Lol???? Farnie rite? I think my roommate thinks I'm mad when I'm chanting and doing my revision at the same time. Haha... I finally found the problem of my uploading of photos. It's not the microsoft fault, it's my fault. Cos I didn't check clearly the format of the file. Ok study hard and I'll put up more pictures to come. Good luck for the remaining papers.

Supply and demand curve

The right hand rule which I oftenly used to do by physics calculation and cross product.

Postage rate is increasing. I hope about this inflation, the government will do something to repay me. I'm in need of money. Lol.

The GST is rising!!! Where is my progress package!!! I don't benefit!!!

Disclaimer: The next message I'm going to blog about is to express my views for the progress package and the increase in GST. This blog does not criticise the government for misallocation of funds. This blog does not force the government to change their policy. This blog allow the government to hear from the people about their views on the government plans.

Dear PM Lee,

I was made to known that the GST is going to rise again, however, what is shocking to me is that the GST policy isn't going to help me a lot. Last year, before the elections, I was told that the government will be giving out their surpluses to the people. However, I was disappointed that I was not a part of the people to receive the surplus as I'm only 20 (minimum age is 21). I've paid for the 5% GST, I'm one of the last batch to serve the army for a long time of 2 years 4 months, but I don't receive any benefits from the government. And now, the GST is going to rise to 7%, and I'm going to relatively lose out from it as I'm not from a lower income family. You said that this rise will give benefits to paying for the tertiary education. I was thinking about this offset so that I can be paying less for my university fees next year (much less than the next batch coming in). Will we get a progress package next year in view of this increase. I, as a 1985 batch, has not been benefiting from the ERS and the progress package. I hope you will take a note about this point of view.

On the brighter side, I want to thank the government for paying 90% of my school fees and the $100 NS bonus that I received. Singapore is still a nice place to stay in. Wishing you all the best in bringing Singapore ahead of the future.

From your fellow citizen.
