Band camp

Band camp has been bad. I realised that I have a lot of part which requires many practice, but I just got no time to practice with the numerous amount of work I've been doing. With the 1st day of band camp not going well, I see great stress in everyone. Shall not elaborate more since this is a public blog. However, I feel that this concert is quite rush. Warming up techniques keep changing and I can't really improve with inconsistency. I just want the band to slowly take one step at a time, improve themselves and push on to the next level. Even if some people don't agree with each other, there must be differences to make the band more colourful.

I realised that in August, it's in deep shit. If elections were not held in July, I'll not be able to pass down my 2 positions. This is because the freshies will have join the hall sub coms or the school sub coms with people will jio them especially during orientation. I hate the hall orientationers who always ask freshies not to join the band committee because the points are too little. Well, blame it on the school. It's not our fault. If i can't pass down, I'll have to quit band until the matter is resolve then I'll return. So I want to request the chairman of the band to hold the elections earlier to avoid problem like this. There is a good point to this also, during the point when the new committee are elected, they can get to learn from the old committee about their job scope and help out for the upcoming competition if there is.
